John Bulteel
Born in 1945 St Denijs -West-Vlaanderen Belgium.
Flemish artist, who has focused totally on plaster sculpture for the last years.
He has developed an unusual technique of soaking strips of glass fibre paper in glue and plaster mix and using them to cover a metal structure. Whilst in the beginning he explored the frontiers of fiction and reality, mythological subjects - strange creatures, satyrs and saints, giants and talking animals all petrified in icy sculptural forms; he now progresses towards a naked universe, without artificialness.
